These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern the use of www.domestic.app (the “Mobile App”).
This Mobile App is owned and operated by Domestic App Ltd.
By using this Mobile App, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to always abide by them.
The use of all personal data you submit to Domestic or which we collect about you is governed by our Privacy Policy. A copy of our Privacy Policy is available here. You
acknowledge that by using the Domestic Mobile App you have reviewed the Privacy Policy.
Your consent at registration and continued use of the Domestic Mobile App constitutes your acceptance of and agreement to all the terms and conditions in
these Terms of Service, and the Privacy Policy as well as any future amendments and additions to this Agreement (as defined below) as we may publish from time to
time. If any future changes to this Agreement are unacceptable to you or cause you to no longer be in compliance with this Agreement, you must deactivate your
account, and immediately stop using the Domestic Mobile App.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS AGREEMENT AND ABIDE BY
ITS TERMS, YOU MAY NOT USE OR ACCESS THE DOMESTIC MOBILE APP.
Intellectual Property
All content published and made available on our Mobile App is the property of Domestic App Ltd. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents,
downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our Mobile App.
Age Restrictions
The minimum age to use our Mobile App is 16 years old. By using this Mobile App, users agree that they are over 16 years old. We do not assume any legal
responsibility for false statements about age.
Acceptable Use
As a user of our Mobile App, you agree to use our Mobile App legally, not to use our
Mobile App for illegal purposes, and not to:
● Harass or mistreat other users of our Mobile App;
● Violate the rights of other users of our Mobile App;
● Violate the intellectual property rights of the Mobile App owners or any third
party to the Mobile App;
● Hack into the account of another user of the Mobile App;
● Act in any way that could be considered fraudulent; or
● Post any material that may be deemed inappropriate or offensive.
If we believe you are using our Mobile App illegally or in a manner that violates these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to limit, suspend or terminate your
access to our Mobile App. We also reserve the right to take any legal steps necessary to prevent you from accessing our Mobile App.
Accounts
When you create an account on our Mobile App, you agree to the following:
1. You are solely responsible for your account and the security and privacy of your account, including passwords or sensitive information attached to that account; and
2. All personal information you provide to us through your account is up to date, accurate, and truthful and that you will update your personal information if it changes.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you are using our Mobile App illegally or if you violate these Terms and Conditions.
Procurement of Services
These Terms and Conditions govern the procurement of services available on our Mobile App. We are under a legal duty to supply services that match the description
of the services(s) offered on our Mobile App.
The Domestic mobile app facilitates the trade in services within a domestic setting between Service Providers and Clients. “Clients” are individuals seeking to
purchase services (“Jobs”) from Service Providers and are therefore Clients of Service Providers. “Providers” are self-employed independent contractors seeking
to perform Jobs for Clients. Clients and Service Providers together are hereinafter referred to as Users of the Domestic mobile app. If you agree on the terms of a Job
with another User, you and such other User form a Service Agreement directly between both parties.
Domestic App Ltd does not carry out jobs and does not employ Service Providers. Service Providers are independent individuals providing services procured by a
client. They are not employees, partners, representatives, agents, joint venturers, independent contractors or franchisees of Domestic App Ltd. The Domestic Mobile
App operates as a digital marketplace that connects Clients with Service Providers who wish to sell services for which the tasks are to be performed in a domestic
setting.
Users hereby acknowledge that Domestic App Ltd is not responsible for the work carried out by a Service Provider, nor does it have control over the quality, failure to
provide or any other aspect whatsoever of jobs carried out via the Domestic mobile app.

● Mobile Hairdressing
● Window Cleaning
● Extra Lessons

● Cooking
● Furniture Assembly
● Painting
● Shopping
● Packing & Unpacking
Domestic App Ltd reserves the right to change the range of services available at any time. These services will be paid for in full by the Clients upon the completion of the
service by the Service Provider. These Terms and Conditions apply to all the services that are displayed on our Mobile App at the time you access it. All
information, descriptions, or images that we provide about our services are as accurate as possible. However, we are not legally bound by such information,
descriptions, or images as we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all services we provide.
Users agree to purchase services from our Mobile App at their own risk.
Domestic App Ltd reserves the right to modify, reject or cancel your job whenever it becomes necessary. If we cancel your job and have already processed your
payment, we will give you a refund equal to the amount you paid. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor your payment instrument to verify receipt of any refund.
Third Party Goods and Services
Our Mobile App may offer goods and services from third parties. We cannot guarantee the quality or accuracy of goods and services made available by third
parties on our Site.
Payments
At the time of booking a service, Client agrees to escrow the total amount agreed with the Service Provider for carrying out the Job. On completion of a job, Client
agrees to release the total escrowed amount payable to the Service Provider. We use Stripe for our payment processing, so your card information is as safe as it can
be. Your card information will not be visible to us, it will be visible only to Stripe. We accept the following payment methods on our Mobile App:
● Credit Card
● Debit Card
When you provide us with your payment information, you authorise our use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use. By providing us with your
payment information, you authorise us to charge the amount due to this payment instrument.
If we believe your payment has violated any law or these Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or reverse your transaction.
Right to Cancel and Receive Reimbursement
All Clients and Service Providers have the right to cancel a job via the Mobile App. For Clients, cancellation is at no cost if they give 24 hours’ notice, or the full cost of
the service will be charged. For Service Providers, cancellation of a job will refund the full cost of the job to the Client.
To exercise your right to cancel you must do so from the Cancel Job option available in the job details section of the Mobile App.
Dispute Resolution
Where there is a dispute between Users of the Domestic Mobile App, for example, where a Client is not satisfied with the quality of service received and is therefore
refusing to pay, Users can raise a dispute via the “raise dispute” form provided in the app within the job details section. Domestic App Ltd will ensure that all disputes are
resolved as quickly and as fairly as possible.
Consumer Protection Law
Where the Sale of Goods Act 1979, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or any other consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction applies and cannot be excluded,
these Terms and Conditions will not limit your legal rights and remedies under that legislation. These Terms and Conditions will be read subject to the mandatory
provisions of that legislation. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and that legislation, the mandatory provisions of the legislation will apply.
Limitation of Liability
Domestic App Ltd and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and
expenses including legal fees from your use of the Site.
Indemnity
Except where prohibited by law, by using this Mobile App you indemnify and hold harmless Domestic App Ltd and our directors, officers, agents, employees,
subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of
these Terms and Conditions.
Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Country of England.
Severability
If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed
void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be
considered valid.
Changes
These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate our Mobile
App and the way we expect users to behave on our Mobile App. We will notify users by email of changes to these Terms and Conditions or post a notice on our Mobile
App.
